“A disposable camera designed from scratch.” (2019)

In 2019, Andy had the idea of selling a custom disposable camera as tour merch, and instead of a generic pattern wrap, we created an entirely fictional camera brand, the AndyCam GPFX3000. We pulled inspiration from classic Fujifilm and Kodak designs, and even incorporated visual elements from a Russian metro card to make it feel like a real consumer product. When I submitted the design, I told the manufacturer that graphic design wasn’t my main thing, and their reply (“the art is truly amazing”) was a huge confidence boost.

This project became a turning point for me, marking the moment I started seeing myself as a capable designer. Concept, creative direction, and design by me, with illustration by Sam Veatch, a simple merch idea that helped reshape my creative identity.
