“A 70’s inspired ‘Krunk-Fu” music video.” (2023)
Dust (Nathan Corrona) directed a beautiful video for Andy Mineo and Lecrae, the look, color, and production design were already strong when the edit landed in my inbox. As Andy’s creative director, I watched with fresh eyes and noticed a story thread that was there, but not fully connecting. It just needed clarity, not a redo, just guidance.
After a few passes, I suggested trims and rearrangements to strengthen the narrative flow. Then the breakthrough: on-screen chapter titles to anchor the emotional beats and help the viewer follow the story with intention. Once those captions were added, the video suddenly snapped into place, more focused, more cohesive, more impactful.
Featuring Lecrae and Andy Mineo with a full supporting cast; wardrobe and props by Andrea and Ezra Jenkins; AD support from Ryan Martin; title design by Kevin Hackett and myself; additional story, screenwriting, and editing from me; primary editing, creative direction, and production by Dust, a great piece made even better with the right final touches.
