The Goal: Create memorable, quirky, and fun posters that seamlessly fit into the world of each project.
Credits: The first poster was created for Andy Mineo's Return To Never Land Tour (2021). I led the creative direction, art direction, and graphic design, while Marcus C. Thomas brought the illustrations to life.
For the Magic & Bird posters (2017), I handled creative direction, art direction, and graphic design, with photography expertly captured by Ray “Neutron” Spears.
I handled all aspects of Wordsplayed’s Lo-Fidelity Love 8x10’s (2019).
Notes: The press photo flyers were designed for Wordsplayed's project Lo-Fidelity Love. These 8x10’s were signed at merch tables after every show during a national tour where he was a supporting act.
One of the tour’s most memorable moments came when Wordsplayed would sign each flyer and read his personalized message aloud to every fan who bought one. The crowd would always burst into laughter and excitement, creating a signature moment at every stop.
Inspired by an old Larry David press photo I spotted, these flyers were meticulously crafted from scratch.
I took great care to replicate the look and feel of classic press photos from the entertainment industry’s past, allowing me to hone my skills and focus on every detail to capture the essence of that retro aesthetic.
